  I kept delaying picking up the ashes of my beloved golden retriever named Pal. Pal was my best friend and 24/7 companion (I have a home office) for 15 years. I made arrangements with Chuck, one of he owners to pick up Pal's ashes on a Saturday morning.
  
  The finality of her death really hit me on the drive to Pennylane and I had to wipe away tears as I drove. My stomach churned and I thought I might have to pull over and vomit.
  
  When I pulled into the driveway I was welcomed by two happy labs. It was comforting to know the owners had happy dogs. Chuck also greeted me and when inside talked with great sensitivity about the process and gave me Pal's ashes in an incredibly beautiful wooden earn. He also gave my her collar, which we ha neglect to remove from her body. I was so thrilled to have her collar and tags!
  
  Chuck said some nice things, but I was so chocked up all I could do was nod.
  
  I dreaded the experience and was awed by the care, sensitivity and professionalism I received.

  It's been over a year since I brought my boy Chester to them but they did a beautiful job and I can't thank them enough for what they did
